I have to say that after enduring some of the not-so-great hotels we stayed in Bolivia in for 2 weeks, this was the highlight of our final two nights in Bolivia. This hotel is TOP NOTCH!, the staff is very accommodating serving your every need, and the room was exceptionally clean with all the amenities of a 5-star hotel, we enjoyed the pool, then a dip in the Jacuzzi as well as the dry sauna afterward. Also, the food at the restaurant was amazing!! and the service was perfect. I can't think of any more accolades for the Sun Hotel, all I can say is that I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler to Santa Cruz Bolivia, I will go back in a few months but this time for business. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast was excellent and offered a diversity of choices. The waiter offered me an omelette. The location close to the airport was just what I needed. I appreciated the shuttle back to the airport. The receptionist allowed me to borrow an adapter for my phone charger. Very good price for the night’s stay. Thank you all!

This hotel is perfect for my 3 am arrival into Santa Cruz by plane. It is very very close to the airport, so I was able to get some rest and then the next morning enjoy the nice large hotel room and balcony, breakfast and beautiful pool and grounds. I would recommend this highly either coming in and out of the city for a trip.

hotel proximity to airport is definitely a plus, pool was clean but did not have any attendants providing towels or service. Room was clean, AC worked fine, bathroom had hot water but bathtub had mold in on the edges, needs caulk.
