The proximity to the airport is great. And the free shuttle to and from the airport is invaluable. When I exited baggage claim their driver was standing there waiting for me with my name on a placard. Couldn’t have been more perfect.

The Sun Hotel is the obvious choice for anyone who is flying into Bolivia and then taking a domestic flight. The Shuttle is very efficient and the Hotel is immaculately clean and maintained. The grounds are beautiful and the Pool is EPIC! Wow! I'll definitely stay again as needed.

This hotel is perfect for my 3 am arrival into Santa Cruz by plane. It is very very close to the airport, so I was able to get some rest and then the next morning enjoy the nice large hotel room and balcony, breakfast and beautiful pool and grounds. I would recommend this highly either coming in and out of the city for a trip.

The buffet breakfast was very good with lots of choice, the rooms are very quiet, clean and spacious. The food from the restaurant was excellent.

I have to say that after enduring some of the not-so-great hotels we stayed in Bolivia in for 2 weeks, this was the highlight of our final two nights in Bolivia. This hotel is TOP NOTCH!, the staff is very accommodating serving your every need, and the room was exceptionally clean with all the amenities of a 5-star hotel, we enjoyed the pool, then a dip in the Jacuzzi as well as the dry sauna afterward. Also, the food at the restaurant was amazing!! and the service was perfect. I can't think of any more accolades for the Sun Hotel, all I can say is that I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler to Santa Cruz Bolivia, I will go back in a few months but this time for business. hotel proximity to airport is definitely a plus, pool was clean but did not have any attendants providing towels or service. Room was clean, AC worked fine, bathroom had hot water but bathtub had mold in on the edges, needs caulk.

Sun Hotel was very clean, with comfortable beds, and a yummy breakfast. It was nice and close to the airport. The staff were super helpful and friendly. We were very happy with our stay.
